We strive to provide an exceptional and inclusive learning environment that fosters critical thinking, ethical practice, leadership skills and emphatic service.

OBJECTIVES: The BS Pharmacy of AMYA Polytechnic College aims to produce exemplary graduates who have:

  1. Pharmaceutical care and clinical skills in patient counseling.
  2. Pharmaceutical entrepreneurial leadership skills.
  3. Training in Hospital, Community and Manufacturing Pharmacy.
  4. Training in Pharmaceutical Research and Publications.
  5. Training in Product formulations and development.


Here's the summary of the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy curriculum from AMYA Polytechnic College, Inc.

First Year
1st Semester (22 Units):
Covers fundamental GE courses (Math, Environmental Science, Understanding the Self), alongside Pharmaceutical Botany, Perspective in Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Calculations.
2nd Semester (27 Units):
Introduces core sciences like Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, Human Physiology, and Pharmaceutical Analysis 1, plus IT and health care system basics.
Summer (7 Units):
Includes Art Appreciation and Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry.

Second Year
1st Semester (26 Units):
Focuses on Dosage Forms, Biochemistry, Microbiology & Parasitology, Physical Pharmacy, and the first course in Dispensing.
2nd Semester (29 Units):
Heavy emphasis on Pharmacognosy (plant medicine), Pharmacology 1, and Instrumental Methods of Analysis, alongside Pharmacy Informatics.
Summer (6 Units):
Covers Ethics and Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics.

Third Year
1st Semester (22 Units):
Deep dives into Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Hospital Pharmacy, Pharmacology 2, and the first level of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacotherapeutics.
2nd Semester (23 Units):
Focuses on Toxicology, Public Health, Cosmetic Product Development, and Pharmacy Law/Ethics. This semester also includes Thesis Writing.

Fourth Year
1st Semester (12 Units):
Internship rotations in Institutional, Public Health/Regulatory, and Community Pharmacy settings (600 Hours).
2nd Semester (15 Units):
Internship rotations in Hospital and Industrial Pharmacy. The program concludes with a Pharmacy Competency Appraisal to prepare for board exams (600 Hours).
